Do You Offer In-Person Sessions?

No, I only offer virtual online therapy sessions.

Do You Accept Insurance?

I don't accept insurance, but I can provide a 'superbill' for documentation. If you have out-of-network benefits, you can submit it to your insurance for potential reimbursement

What Are Your Therapy Session Fees?

  • Initial Consultation (20 min): Free

  • Initial Session (50 Min): 220.00

  • Individual Therapy Session (50 Min): 200.00

How Structured Are Your Online Therapy Sessions?

I actively participate in our conversations and may offer suggestions on where to begin. However, I prioritize letting you guide the session and determining which topics are most important for us to process together. If you require significant structure and want someone to tell you what to do, I am not the therapist for you. In such cases, exploring the services of a coach could be a more fitting option.

Do You Meet with Clients Weekly or Monthly?

While the research on the effectiveness of therapy suggests that weekly sessions are best (Lin, Anderson, Erekson, & Ogles, 2023), I acknowledge that it may not be feasible for everyone. I find that some people can make significant changes by attending therapy at least every other week. However, there are instances where weekly therapy is required.

Unfortunately, to make substantial progress, it's necessary to attend therapy at least every other week. However, for current or past clients who have achieved their therapy goals and desire ongoing support, I provide monthly check-ins to help them stay on track.

How Long Are Online Therapy Sessions?

Our sessions will be 50 minutes long.

  • I commonly work with clients experiencing:

    • Anxiety and Stress Management

    • Depression

    • Grief and Loss

    • Trauma from Toxic Relationships or Toxic Work Environments

    • Burnout and Life Transitions

    • Relationship and Interpersonal Challenges

    • Reframing Limiting Thoughts and Long-Standing Conditioning

    • Identity and Self-Worth Concerns

    • Work and Career Stress

    • Mental Health Concerns Connected to Fitness, Nutrition, and Elder Care Support

  • I am not able to help with the following services:

    • Court-Ordered Therapy or Forensic Evaluations

    • Custody Evaluations

    • Disability or Legal Evaluations

    • Paperwork for Legal Proceedings

    • Psychiatric Medication Services

If you need those services, you should look for the following professional:

    • Forensic Psychologists

    • Court-Approved Providers

    • Psychiatrists / Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners

    • Local Hospital Systems or Crisis Centers

  • Therapy will help you gain greater clarity, confidence, emotional relief, and a stronger sense of self.

    Together, we work to:

    • Identify Recurring Emotional and Behavioral Patterns

    • Understand What May Be Contributing to Feeling Stuck

    • Increase Self-Awareness and Self-Compassion

    • Improve Coping with Anxiety, Stress, and Burnout

    • Strengthen Boundaries and Relationships

    • Shift Unhelpful Thinking Patterns

    • Process Grief, Trauma, and Difficult Transitions

    • Develop Practical Strategies for Moving Forward

The overall goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and able to navigate life with greater ease and intention.

  • I primarily work with adults, typically age 27 and older, including professionals, leaders, caregivers, and individuals navigating significant life and career transitions. Many clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally struggling with stress, burnout, grief, self-doubt, or relationship challenges. A strong area of focus includes professionals managing elder care responsibilities alongside demanding careers.

  • You will be a good match for me as a therapist if you are experiencing the following:

    • Being Overwhelmed in your Career

    • Burn-Out as a Leader

    • Stress as a Caregiver

    • Difficulties Managing Elder Care

    • Grief After Loss

    • Trouble with Sleep / Racing Thoughts

    • Work Stress and Toxic Work Environment

    • Imposter Syndrome

    • Relationship Stress

    • Feeling Stuck in Life Transition

If you are seeking highly directive, advice-only, or “tell me exactly what to do” support, you may be better with just a consultation with me rather than therapy.

  • Sometimes issues that you may need therapy for can show up as:

    • Difficulty Sleeping or Racing Thoughts

    • Feeling Mentally “on” All the Time

    • Trouble Setting Boundaries at Work or with Family

    • Irritability and Lack of Boundaries in Relationships

    • Feeling Stressed while Taking Care of an Aging Parent

    • Constant Worry about Performance or Making Mistakes

    • Irritability, Exhaustion, or Emotional Numbness

    • Overthinking Conversations and Decisions

    • Difficulty Concentrating

    • Feeling Overwhelmed by Transitions such as Divorce, Loss, Promotion, Relocation, or Caregiving

    • Loss of Confidence or Feeling “Stuck”

  • My therapy style is collaborative, thoughtful, warm, and insight-oriented. I will actively participate, offer meaningful feedback, and help you identify patterns while still allowing you to guide what feels most important in session. The approach balances emotional depth with practical support and clear movement toward goals.

  • Goals are measured through:

    • Reduction in Distress Symptoms

    • Improved Daily Functioning

    • Stronger Coping Strategies

    • Better Boundaries

    • Improved Relationships and Communication

    • Progress through Life Transitions

    • Increased Clarity and Confidence

    • Scored Assessment Measures for Anxiety and Mood

Feedback is provided through active reflection, collaborative check-ins, and regular discussion of what is improving and what still feels stuck.

    • Inpatient or Residential Treatment

    • Crisis Stabilization

    • Emergency Psychiatric Services

    • 24/7 On-Call Crisis Support

    • in-Person Therapy

    • Medication Management / Psychiatry

For emergencies, clients should go to the nearest ER, call 988, or contact local crisis services.

  • I have over 20 years of experience across therapy, leadership coaching, academic leadership, and consultation settings.

  • I have a strong cultural awareness around leadership identity, workplace dynamics, caregiving, grief, and high-achieving professionals dealing with stress. I also work with diverse professionals in industries like healthcare, law, education, engineering, business, and leadership positions.
